Kern County Wool Growers Auxiliary

"The Bo-Peeps"                  Promoting Lamb and Wool Since 1958
Bo-Peeps Proudly Promote Lamb and Wool

Since its organization in the early spring of 1958, the Kern County Wool Growers Auxiliary has diligently served the United States sheep industry, one of the oldest industries in our Nation.  The Bo-Peeps actively promote lamb and wool through their work and sponsorship at the annual Kern County Fair and Make It With Wool State competition.  Our scholarship program promotes continued education in the field of Agriculture.  Also, we perform philanthropic works to meet the needs of our growing community and, while doing so, promote friendship and better public relations.

Our members pledge their continued assistance to the oldest association in California, the California Wool Growers Association, which was established in 1860, and to our Kern County Wool Growers Association, formed in 1930.  The Bo-Peeps are proud to assist the hard-working and dedicated producers who make Kern County a national leader and all sheepmen who help feed and clothe our Nation!  We invite you to eat lamb and wear wool!
